OUR ROOTS & MISSION

The Sanctuary Behind #healPinas

A space dedicated to returning home to yourself, releasing what no longer serves, and walking the path of deep inner remembrance.

The Story & Mission of #healPinas

#healPinas was born out of a deep vision for our nation, our history, and our people.

To be Filipino is to carry a profound, multi-generational inheritance. For centuries, our ancestors endured survival, displacement, and quiet endurance—weaving a legacy of resilience, deep loyalty, and fierce sacrifice into our collective bones. That resilience kept us going, but it also left many of us carrying invisible weights: the burden of endless expectations, the habit of putting everyone else first, and the quiet grief of abandoning ourselves just to keep the family and community afloat.

We inherited a culture of surviving. But we are also the generation uniquely positioned to choose something different.

True national healing does not happen from the top down; it starts right here, with us, in the quiet, courageous choice to look inward. When one of us pauses, drops the heavy bag, and gives themselves permission to heal, the ripple effect moves outward through our families, our communities, and across our islands.

#healPinas is built to be a sacred, grounded sanctuary for that exact homecoming. Here, we step out of the relentless rush of modern life to gather, exhale, and remember who we are beneath the noise.

We don't do it alone. In a culture built on community, our healing is meant to be shared. Together, we slow down. Together, we release the weight.

Together, we heal.

Meet Ellie Avancy

As the founder and primary facilitator of #healPinas, my life's work is centered on a simple truth: you do not have to carry the weight of the world alone, and you are the only one who can truly heal yourself. I am simply here to guide the way.

After spending years living in the U.S. and training in deep transformational traditions in Hawaii, I made the conscious decision to come home. Living abroad gave me perspective, but my heart has always remained with my people.

If you grew up Filipino, you likely know the quiet exhaustion that comes with survival mode. So many of us have sat across from friends, relatives, and clients who share the exact same story, living lives entirely for their parents, their families, or their obligations, while quietly abandoning themselves along the way. We are taught to endure, to provide, and to carry everything on our shoulders without ever putting the heavy bags down.

I’ve walked those deep valleys too. Returning home and stepping into this work became my way of helping our community break that cycle. Through #healPinas, we use an integrative approach, blending ancient and cosmic arts like ancient Hawaiian Huna, Ho‘oponopono, Star Magic Healing, and breathwork with modern tools like hypnotherapy and Mental and Emotional Release® (MER®). But these tools don't fix you; they simply work with your nervous system to help you release stored emotional weight and clear away the noise so your own body and mind can do the deep work of healing themselves.

My role is to hold a safe, fiercely grounded space for your journey. Through transformational workshops, retreats, private containers, and community circles across the Philippines, we are learning how to stop performing, reclaim our personal power, and return home: to ourselves.
